Does Sigsync Email signature service limit messages in Office 365?
You would like to know if Sigsync Office 365 Email Signatures affect the Office 365 mail sending limit on a daily basis.
Every sender in Office 365 has an email sending limit for a mailbox. There is a daily limit of 10,000 recipients and messages will not be delivered if a sender exceeds this limit. The Recipient rate is counted such that
- Every email is sent from a particular mailbox.
- If multiple messages are sent to the same recipient, then each occurrence is counted separately.
Sigsync service has no interaction with the recipient count mechanism. Therefore, it has no effect on the Recipient count limit.
Sigsync Client-side signatures do not affect the recipient count as the signatures are added directly when you compose an email in Outlook.
In the Server-side Signatures, the messages enter the Sigsync service after leaving your mailbox where the recipient limit has already been counted. Sigsync then attaches signatures to your messages and sends them to the Office 365 submission queue. So there is no possibility of Sigsync service affecting the recipient limit count.
